Like Gwen said: This sh*t is BANANAS. If you are a vegan, say hello to your savior... or should we say savor. Ancient Provisions ventured outside the box and turned the classic cheese cracker recipe upside down, making wholesome and delicious cheese-like crackers. It all started with an unlikely ingredient: Green Banana Flour.

We value community input. Let us know how you jive with this product so we can continue to build the most bomb-diggity-dot-com on the internet.

Here’s a lesson about Bananas.

Bananas that reach your kitchen are the pretty bananas, the lucky ones that are not misshapen and/or bruised. So what you are eating is the 80%… but what happens to the 20% that society deems unworthy for your consumption?

We have no idea what happens to the 20%, but we know that Ancient Provisions is trying to make use of the 20% of banana rejects and we think that’s a noble mission.

Ancient Provisions works with banana farmers to convert the banana rejects into Green Banana Flower… the main ingredient in their certified organic, grain-free Cheddar Cheesish Crackers. And yes, they taste bomb-diggity.

Just ask our taste tester Jordan who has never been called a taste tester in his life: when asked if he likes Ancient Provisions he said… “I do! Amazing. At first I tried solo without dip. & the last 5-10 chips I had with cheese, like block cheese. Super good in my opinion. They definitely taste good alone. Elle (girlfriend) really liked them too.”

By using these “imperfect” banana rejects, Ancient Provisions helps cut back on food waste while creating a one-of-a-kind, superfood snack. Banana flour is one of nature’s best forms of resistant starch, food for the hungry probiotics in your biome.

We’ll leave you with a long list of the Ancient Provisions cracker ingredients:
